Possible Poor Compatibility with Minecolonies

MC 1.16.5, mods per https://www.curseforge.com/minecraft/modpacks/hexworks/relations/dependencies & versions & changelogs per the google sheet in the docs.
Minecolonies residents exhibit occasionally strange behavior normally, typically consisting of not operating on some buildings or 'forgetting' chunks of a building, e.g. missing some blocks on a roof or claiming an unfinished structure is complete. Such structures do not seem to be repairable by the citizens themselves; builders simply stand idly by instead of moving to repair the structure, though the materials needed for the repair are still correctly deduced.
Very rarely, this seems to cause a crash with a spectacular log (several affixed alongside debug logs and crash reports).
