I'm changing the s3 provider. Older mekanism versions uses the direct link for the buckets instead trough our cdn(domain name). The update notification, cape and dependency downloader might not work on versions older than 9.10.12. They were updated at different times and to different sites. It is recommended to disable these functions with older versions to prevent attacks. We will loose control over these direct links by the end of this year. Comment here if issues arise
