Hi,
finally I have limited the connecting issue to IC2 energy sources to a single mod.
The Universal Cables get no energy out of any IC2 energy source as long as the Resonant Induction Electrical module is present.
However, the Universal Cables can feed IC2 energy storages like the MFSU with energy anyway.
Maybe you and the mod devs of Resonant Induction should talk together to fix this issue.

Not a Mekanism bug I'm afraid. This should be posted on their tracker.

Sorry, but you make it too easy for you like the Resonand Induction team.
They told me the same and reffered to you to fix it.

I think you need to talk together and to check your codes at both sides to fix it.
It would be really nice if you choose to go for it.

What irritates me here is that connecting IC2 Cables like the Fibre Cable to the output of the IC2 energy sources still works fine together with Resonant Induction Electrical module installed.
Possibly there is a difference about how you connect to the output side of the IC2 energy sources and how IC2 itself does it. And maybe RI-Electrical interferes here.

Just compared the IC2 APIs within Mekanism and Universal Electricity and the latest IC2 API from IC2 itself.
It looks like there is a version difference of the IC2 API version between Mekanism and UE. Also it looks like both versions of the IC2 API aren't the same as the last version from IC2 for Minecraft 1.6.4 (see IC2 build 397). Maybe both you and the RI dev team should have a look into it.
