universal cables die and infect others

Put down a full energy cube, then a uni cable, and an empty cube. The empty cube fills up, but now anything connected to the cable network isn't accepting nor sending power. The cable is dead, and any new cables added are 'infected' and are dead as well.
EDIT: Cables are less "dead", and more "black holes" for power. They consume unlimited power and transmit none.

I can confirm I reproduced this as well. Will try deleting configs and attempt to reproduce and post results.
I'm not able to reproduce this anymore. Not sure if it's a fluke or bad mod interaction.
I wiped configs, restarted, and saw no change. These cables remained dead/black holes and continue to infect any connected. This issue goes as far back as at least build 42.
Can't reproduce this. Guessing it's a bad mod interaction somewhere as Kodos stated.
Is there any way to determine which mod is interacting badly? Everything was fine for two weeks, no changes, then suddenly this issue.
My best guess is something changed in the network of cables that caused the bug to start happening. Best bet is to retrace steps and see what was added/removed
Resonant Induction most likely. Someone already took this to their tracker, so marking this as closed.
I use a lot of mods, but I don't use Resonant Induction, UE, CalclaviaCore, or anything else that should mess with Mek cables. This is a list of mods I'm using. http://www.technicpack.net/modpack/details/aeoniatechnically.1766#mod-list
The only modded blocks in use when this occur(ed/s) are from Mekanism, Thermal Expansion, and MineFactoryReloaded.
