Mekanism, Optifine and aggressive occlusion.

I'm not sure if this has been posted before because there are no options to search issues, so forgive me if this is pearoast.

Optifine appears to aggressively cull blocks out of the Field of View, but this causes problem with multi-block models Mekanism uses. Windmills and Advanced Solar Arrays will suddenly disappear if the bottom block leaves the field of view. I assume this means that the model is attached to the bottom block? Is there a way to attach it to all blocks that you use for collision?

Yes I know optifine causes all sorts of problems but I haven't found a viable alternative yet, FPSPlus seems very hacky in terms of installation and I'm not seeing any FPS improvement or smoothness on my end.

This is using MC 1.6.4, Optifine HD U D1 (I really wish they'd separate out the AA from multicore.) and Mekanism 6.0.5.46

There's really no way for me to fix this. I adjusted culling specifically to work on my end, Optifine must somehow override that. Maybe 1.7 with all the new rendering changes will solve some of the issues.

Optifine in 1.7.2 has been even worse in my opinion, it breaks EVERYTHING.

I'm waiting for lots of mods to become close to stable before I update my entire server. And with there being a split between 1.7.2 and 1.7.10 it looks like the wait will be even longer. Most of 1.7's updates are mostly about realms tho.
