Minor desync when sneak-left-clicking items to push them into smelter

When I sneak-left-click items into the smelter I get a desync. The item appears to push to the top of my inv, but the machine starts and processes the item. Closing and opening the UI usually fixes the desync.

Missed packet in the shift click handler?

Is this server-only, or does it also happen in SSP?

Appears to be SMP only.

This was occurring in 1.6.4 too. I'll see what I can do.
