If I place a Metallurgic Infuser my (singleplayer) Game is closing down ("A fathal error has occured. This connection is terminated") and the next thing I can see is the Minecraft Multiplayer Menu, where you would choose which server you want to connect to. The "Installed Mods" Attechment is from my "fml-client-latest.log" and the "latest.log" is the original complete log of my crashed world. I am using FML version 10.13.0.1188.

The crash given does not reference Mekanism in any way. Would you provide the COMPLETE log? Considering you're in SSP it is most likely a client crash.

Oh, and the system specs are:
OS: Win 8.1 64 Bit
CPU: Intel I7-4770K
GPU: EVGA GTX 750 Ti FTW
RAM: 8 GB (set 6 for Minecraft)

Ok. I've updated to 7.0.0.77 and the error is still there. So I have cleaned my complete log folder and reproduced the error once more. After closing Minecraft this 3 files where written into my log folder:

I am also receiving the same crash. I created a new world, gave myself a metallurgic infuser, and as soon as I put it down in the world I am disconnected from the local server. Playing SSP and using Mekanism 7.0.0.75. I haven't tried to reproduce this with any other Mekanism blocks. +fender36 do you have any other mods installed?

Further inspection of the log tells me this is a waila crash. Report this on their issue tracker, but I'll be happy to be of assistance.
