I joined the premium users group and have been searching the builds for a working 1.7.2 build... Could you please point me to it? I understand it may be incomplete, but I would like to use it and is part of the reason I joined in the first place.

The 1.7.2 build is definitely incomplete I'm afraid :(
Builds 111 to 124 on the dev page are on 1.7.2 I'm pretty sure.
