[1.7.10] [7.0.0.82] CTD When placing Heat Generator

I place a heat generator and I crash.

I am connecting lava to it via Ender IO fluid conduits, and outputting power via Ender IO energy conduits @CrazyPants

Once I crash, I can then join the server again, they play their sounds, generate power, and work fine.

It's just the crash on place.

We need a crash log to be able to look into this

Oops. Totally derped. Forgot to add the link to my paste haha.

EDIT: Going to try updating Forge.

Hmm, curiouser and curiouser. I'll get EIO installed and take a closer look.

Does this happen in SSP as well, or just on a dedicated server?

commented

I'm not sure. I have only tested it on a server.

commented

Hmh, I'm unable to to replicate this with our 8.0 development branch and EnderIO 161 in SSP or SMP so either we've already fixed this by accident in the course of normal development or there's something more complicated going on.

commented

Alright! Haha.

Accidental fixes are the best kind.

commented

Weird, does it only happen when placing it next to EIO conduits?

commented

Yep, and I found a fix.

If you place it "correctly" (so the back of the machine is lined up with the power conduit and the front is lined up with the fluid conduit) you will crash.

If you place it "incorrectly" (so the power doesn't connect right away) then you wrench it into the correct position, it does not crash.
