I was forced to remove mekanism from my server because of universal cables and there was no way to remove them via worldedit etc.

Anyways, i want to re-add mekanism but ban universal cables, from what i discovered they dont actually have a correct id or something, so is there no way to ban them with say NoItem or any other ban plugin?

if it's a id issue, what other mods do you have? it could be another issue as forge usually fixes id issues.

I thought the problem was just that they were already in-world? Surely if you've removed the mod you can now just ban crafting them or holding them or whatever? If the process of banning a block is different to the process of banning an item, be sure to ban them as items, or try and find something that'll let you ban individual ForgeMultipart parts.

use the mod TPPI Tweaks, there is a config to ban them, mod is also used in Test Pack Pls Ignore

i have tried banning them using the id that was in NEI as well as the different id that was in the config folder, both do not work. The author stated something about i would have to ban all of forge multipart to ban the block, but idk if thats true

I don't have any plans to create item/block enabling configs. TPPI Tweaks sounds like your best bet.
