My client crashes on startup

That will work but may cause crashes if you attempt to use the RA wrench under certain circumstances. If this becomes a problem download the full IC2 API jar from here. At it's root it's an IC2 API issue, they're misusing the @API annotation. I've reported it to them here, I'll close this as it's not our issue.
