when trying to turn a cable off with redstone, it seems the cable needs a block update to actually make it happen. it doesn't seem to just be visual. energy still flows and the cables stay 'connected' until a block is placed, or something updates next to it.

I thought I had already fixed this - maybe that was in the development branch. I'll take a look.

This is still an issue with the latest development build (also master) - the fix is only present in 1.8.

Ah, I remember now - when I fixed it the block-update -> tile-update change either hadn't been made on master/dev yet or I hadn't realised that it had.

Should be fixed now.
