Power draining with no machines attached (6.0.5.46)

When using universal cable my generators are instantly being drained of all of their energy through universal cables attached, although there are no machines attached to the cable. If I do attach a machine to the cable, the machine gets no power yet the power continues to drain. This seems to happen randomly. Sometimes replacing my entire cable network fixes the issue, other times it doesn't. If it helps to know, I'm using the Yogscast Complete Pack on the ATLauncher.
Worth noting that on a previous world on a previous modpack my power would go out and then a few minutes later come back on. It would do this quite frequently.
My server is also getting this with universal cables. It will drain a reactor from big reactor or any energy cell or any power source within 1 seconds no matter the size of the cable network from 1 to 100 (or more) with any universal cable without any machine connected. just a single cable from the power source drains it instantly.
its not all users at same time, its speratic, It mainly seems to be from people who have a reactor connected to the network.

In the end I replaced my entire factory and so far the glitch hasn't returned.
How long have you had said factory for? It may have been a conversion issue between versions.
I started playing last week. There's been no updates for the pack and the pack runs the latest version of Mekanism for 1.6.4
My server only had this happen within the last week or two, never before. As with robo, no updates to mods. replacing cables works for a bit, but it comes back.
Interestingly that's not the minimum value for any data type. There must be a hideous power leak somewhere or a conversion issue between mekanism power to RF.
I have not recently had this glitch at all.
@BehoDouble As I recall in 1.6.4 most Buildcraft machines did not have energy buffers. They used energy as fast as they drew it. And transport pipes can draw energy really, really fast.

I have almost the same problem when I connect, for example, 5 Wind Turbines, a Universal Cable and a Wooden Transport Pipe. The Wooden Transport Pipe drains all the energy buffer of the Wind Turbines (not instantly), and if I attach a machine to the cable network, the Wooden Transport Pipe and the machine share the energy produced by the Wind Turbines so the system works, its just that the Wind Turbine energy buffers stay empty.
The Wooden Transport Pipe seems to work like a machine with an infinite energy buffer.
So the Wooden Transport Pipe draws a lot more energy than any other pipe for no reason and its normal ?
I can live with it i think. :D
This isn't an issue in v7, but discussion of this issue can be continued if necessary in regards to v6.
