The electrolytic seperator does not reduce its power consumption with all 8 energy upgrades and no speed upgrades. It remains at 400 j/t though it should go down to 40j/t based on the energy upgrades. I am using Mekanism 8.1.4.232

Energy upgrades can't reduce energy usage because that would cause energy loops. They only increase the energy storage of a separator.

Ah that is odd i recall them reducing energy usage before. Still the description should be changed for the energy upgrades it says it does efficiency.

@Saizetsu They do reduce energy usage for every machine except for the separator.

The separator is an exception to prevent the v6 era Hydrogen positive energy feedback loop exploit.
