for that'd i'd first increase the price of the anchor upgrade a lot and then don't increase the range linearly.

The main problem to overcome the problems of a base that sits in 4 chunks (due to bad positioning when building the base) and thus only having one block that keeps the whole base loaded.

For the DM instead the anchor range upgrade would be very useful, to allow the DM doing its job on max range, even when no one is next to it to chunk load all chunks around it.
