  3. Water is drawn into the Thermal Evaporation plant
  4. No brine comes out
  5. Tried every configuration mode on the pipe on block, all it does is change the redstone signal mode

For anyone else with my same issue: if the Configurator isn't letting you configure pipes, you might have accidentally changed its mode. I had changed it to Wrench mode without realizing, so using it would just break pipes. I used the "Item mode key" from Controls, which brought up a radial menu which I could set to fluid mde, which allowed me configure pipes with push / pull again.

@farrspace @freerk92 @thiakil I needed these 3 answers combined to figure this out. Thank you!

You need to set the Mechanical Pipe to Pull mode. With the Configurator in Configure mode you need to sneak right click of the end of the pipe that touches the TEP

Thanks

Having the same issue except pulll mode didnโ€™t work. Any other ideas?

For anyone having this problem, a probable fix is this:
Pipes are segmented within a blockspace, you need to click on the part that is connected to the Evaporation plant. Clicking on the center off the pipe will do nothing
