I am able to stop machines such as enrichment chamber and energized smelter from using energy by simply upgrading them while they are operating. The internal power buffer indicates no charge and power tab on lower left shows no consumption. Cube does not drain despite work being performed.

Removed cable and was still able to process items

Breaking and replacing machine corrects this action.

Mek 9.2.2 [Fix3]

Any News/Fix on that issue? Or any workaround?

i've play atm in SMP and it seems that the order is important.

if i take the energy-upgrades (8x) first and the speed-upgrades (8x) second > the energy usage is extremly high

if i take the speed-upgrades (8x) first and the energy-upgrades (8x) second > the energy usage is extremly low

My used mods:

  • Mekanism-1.10.2-9.2.4.103.jar
  • MekanismGenerators-1.10.2-9.2.4.103.jar
  • MekanismTools-1.10.2-9.2.4.103.jar

Please read the above comment; this will not be fixed for 1.10

Confirmed this is happening on fix3. I have taken them in sequence.

Sorry, I ment to show the lack of cable on the last three images.
If you apply the next tier upgrade (Basic to Advanced) while it is in this condition, it will fix itself.

Confirmed this is still happening with latest release.

You can see power being consumed from cube pre-upgrade.
I perform basic tier upgrade and break cable at this point.

Cannot confirm in latest 1.12 (so it might be a 1.10 only issue).
I remember some fixes to factories and their energy usages.. /me is looking through commit history

--Edit--
Only 1.11 and up fix I could find so quick is d00224f

despite work being performed.

So to confirm, the processing is being done, but no power is being used?

commented

Correct. That screenshot is it, doing work with no power consumption.

I was going to double confirm that in a separate environment, AND to see if it does it on all level upgrades.

Now that 1.12 is supported I'm going to phase out 1.10 for minor fixes.
