Personal Chest deletes itself when opened under certain conditions

Issue description:

The personal chest appears to delete itself when opened (in public mode) by another player, after they have already attempted to break it when it when it was in private mode. Contents are destroyed.

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Place chest
  2. Set to private
  3. Get other player to attempt to break it
  4. Set to public
  5. Get other player to open it
  6. Chest disappears, taking the contents with it.
