Thermal Evaporation plant stopped working

Issue description

Max size TEF with a Resistive Heater, making Brine.

Was working fine and suddenly it's just not working at all. Filling from a Sink using mechanical pipe. Fills just fine when formed. Can access UI.

Not accepting heat from the Resistive Heater. Production is 0.0. Not even the minimal amount it should be by itself.

Have tried breaking and replacing blocks. Have completely rebuilt it. It is in a chunk that has been loaded the whole time.

What's the amount you have the heater set to?

commented

Check the resistive heater to make sure it has energy and isn't disabled (redstone setting on bottom right). I'm also assuming you have the heater connected to a valve since you said it was working before.

It definitely has power and redstone is set to ignored. I do also have it attached to a valve.

Is the white side touching the valve ? And not the black side ? Send a screenshots of your heater connected to the tep, and what value for heater ?

Just wanna make sure, there isn't like a tiny sliver of something in the output is there?

Your resistive heater need to have the white side touching the valve, this is not the case on your screen. you have the grey side touching it. juste replace it to make it touch the white side

Nope. The configuration it's in is the only way it's ever worked for me. Plus there's the already stated fact that it was working fine before. Additionally there's the OTHER already stated fact that the TEF isn't producing anything at all. Not even the minimal amount it should be by itself.

Ok, I'm done. Clearly no one is reading what I'm writing and last time I checked, my English is pretty good. I had set the heater to redstone on to see if that would make the TEF operate on its own. It didn't. I completely disassembled the TEF and moved it to another chunk entirely, left the heater off of it and it wouldn't run then either. SInce you're all so fucking gung ho about the heater and completely ignoring the actual problem, I've got nothing more to say.

It's disabled, unless you're providing redstone signal.

Try setting a higher amount of energy in the resistive heater? As the heaters temperature is basically at ambient.

you can't come in here telling us nothing is wrong with what you're doing when something is wrong with what you're doing. clearly you don't understand that telling people "it was working fine before" adds zero value when you're trying to get assistance. good luck with that attitude. we're not magicians and have no damned idea what you're doing if you don't share. no one is ignoring a damned thing. I regret trying to assist you since you clearly don't deserve it.

also, normal people say "thanks for trying" instead of acting like an entitled shit. like we owe you anything.

and the heater isn't producing heat, genius. keep telling us it isn't the heater, though.
