cannot use transporters to place redstone blocks into an Ultimate Energy Cube, and other blocks with Energy Storage but can be placed in manually

Issue description

I can place redstone blocks into the "-" section of the GUI myself, and it works, and i can pipe redstone DUST into it, and it works, but if i try put in redstone blocks, they just dont go anywhere

nothing happesn from the transporter;

however, i can manually place it in there

the same thing happens with crushers, and other machines that can accept redstone blocks.

Couple things:

  1. I can reproduce it for energy cubes, but if memory serves I believe it might be intentional though as they are more meant as a quick and dirty energy source, rather than one you should be filling or powering multiple things at once with. I will discuss it further with thiakil before closing this though. GRANTED given it can accept them manually... maybe there is definitely a bug going on here. Whether it is that it uses them or that it can't accept via transporters...
  2. For things like the crusher I can't reproduce it (I suspect the issue is that you didn't set that item config for that side of the crusher to "energy". Granted a basic crusher without energy upgrades seems to be unable to utilize the redstone block it accepts because of it producing more energy than it has space in the buffer for, but that is a different matter and not technically a bug.

Oh, I figured out what the issue was:

  1. You are editing the energy side config not the item side config
  2. You need to set it to output or input/output
