every time memory sweep does its thing the game crashes, but only clientside. the server stays online and the cf log says that the suspected mods are memory sweep and architectury api. i dont really know ho to read the logs properly so i am kinda helpless

Are you referring to version 1.20.1-2.0.2? I wasn't able to reproduce the issue in that version.
If it's this version, could you provide the crash reports and logs?

the server just says that i disconnected. after restarting the game i can play again until it sweeps memory. using the commands has no effect. weirdly i was not able to recreate it either

i managed to reproduce it. could it be due to chunkys pregeneration?
