This will be fixed in the next Metamorph update. It is currently fixed in Changeling, which is a drop-in replacement for Metamorph. Replace Metamorph with Changeling and it should fix the crash sooner for you, while keeping your morphs and other data:

You can always switch back to Metamorph, although I recommend Changeling for survival.
