sphereMode is not symetric

Is there a fix for the asymmetrical sphere projections or is there a specific way that the MFFS system needs to be set up to work around it?

I'm experiencing this issue in the 1.21.1 version of FTB Evolution which is using v5.4.17 of the mod.
