Describe the bug
The game will get stuck starting up if the mod cannot connect to the server containing the controller profiles/layouts.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Enable mod
2. Disable your internet
3. The mod attempts to update the controller profiles
4. Stuck

Expected behavior
It should either time out and give up updating controller profiles, or recognize that it cannot reach the server and give up if it cannot update them.
This is important because if the controller layouts cannot be downloaded for any reason the mod will no longer be usable.
