Describe the bug
Typing in the steam deck results like this

Intended: "Hello world"
Unintended: "HHeelllloo wwoorrlldd"

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install polymc
2. Install the fabric + midnightcontrols via polymc
3. Create a world or join a server
4. open chat and try to type

Expected behavior
Normal touch screen typing behavior

• Fabric loader
• Fabric API

Additional context
I have also tested this on other versions and instances, I am pretty sure that this is a bug in the mod itself
