Bug: won't let me attack mobs

Describe the bug
I can use the trigger to break cubes but when I point at mobs it won't let me attack - with a mouse it's fine on the controller nope

Desktop (please complete the following information):

  • OS: Windows
  • Minecraft snapshot 25w32a
  • Modloader Fabric Loader 0.17.0

The controller works fine it's just the mob attacks don't
