I would like to assign the buttons on the back of the Steam Deck to run and crouch but when I tried to bind them in the settings they weren't picked up. I entered settings clicked on the binding for crouch and pressed all of the buttons on the back but it never changed the binding.

It seems like the underlying GLFW controller library this mod uses doesn't expose these buttons.
I might try to make it possible to use Steam's controller API via https://github.com/code-disaster/steamworks4j in a future update

Steam Input support would definitely be nice seeing how much customization it offers, although seeing as the paddles on the Deck can be bound to keybinds anyway I wouldn't see it as a huge priority
