Describe the bug

  • Unable to exit GUIs using inventory button; ESC must be used
  • Direction of music is hard to discern when close to Mechanical Maestros(?) (could be due to Sound Physics Remastered, this is a low-confidence bug)
  • GUI scale of 4 renders portions of some screens visibly cut off

Screenshots
Cut-off GUI

Environment
Forge 1.19.2-43.2.14 & MIMI 1.19-2-4.0.0 release

Additional context
This mod rocks!!

Hello and thank you so much for the detailed bug reports!

  1. This is intentional on the Instrument Screen because the inventory button may be mapped to a piano note, but is not intentional for the other screens. I'll get that fixed for the other screens and make a note somewhere on the Instrument Screen that it must be closed with ESC.

  2. Hmm at the moment MIMI doesn't directly use Minecraft's sound system at all so I wouldn't expect Sound Physics Remastered to cause issues but I'll download it and check that out. It's probably more likely my poor trigonometry skills causing incorrect left/right balance for audio from Mechanical Maestros so I'll take a look at that. ๐Ÿ˜…

  3. I've never really thought to test the GUIs on other scales, I'm just so used to the default. Thank you for trying that! I'll get that fixed ASAP.

Thanks again for the great feedback!

Hello again! I've just uploaded builds for version 4.0.1 to CurseForge and Modrinth which should fix #1 and #3 from your issue! I haven't had time to really dig into #2 yet but will hopefully be able to do so soon.

Thanks again for the reports!

Finally found some time to investigate the sound directionality issues and I think I have a solution which should be included with the next minor hotfix release!

Hello again!

I have just uploaded version 4.0.8 to Modrinth and CurseForge which should hopefully fix the third issue you mentioned!

The CurseForge builds are still processing (can take up to 48 hours) but the Modrinth builds are available now!
