as someone who has used a few different music programs I'm used to Q and Z being one octave apart, with a little bit of overlap. and I'm sure there are others who have their own preffered keyboard layout.

Hello! Thanks for the suggestion! I think this is a very good idea and it's definitely something I'll look into doing, but I'm not sure how feasible it will be technically.

However, at a minimum I could look into creating another built-in layout that matches the program you're used to using. Do you happen to have a link you could send over that shows the keyboard layout you're used to?

here are the main two programs I use, as afr as I know, they don't explicitly show what the mapping is anywhere, but it shouldn't be too difficult to cross-reference
