Are you using the latest MineColonies Version?

• I am running the latest beta/release version of MineColonies for my Minecraft version.
  I am also running the latest versions of other mods that are part of my problem.

Did you check on the Wiki? or ask on Discord?

• I checked the MineColonies Wiki and made sure my issue is not covered there. Or I was sent from discord to open an issue here.

What were you playing at the time? Were you able to reproduce it in both settings?

Current Behavior

the university is in a force loaded chunk is level 3 with 3 happy, healthy researchers. they do research but i can spend 8 hours a day in the game even in the same chunk as them and their research only goes up by like 15 minutes

Expected Behavior

one hour of research being done 1 hour after starting it

Reproduction Steps

i dont have any this has been happening since the beginning of my world. i played singleplayer that didnt work. then i tried to open up to lan that didnt work i now made a multiplayer server from the same world and continued playing there but that didnt fix the issue either

it doesnt show that an update is available though how do i update?

alright i downloaded the newest version for neoforge for minecolonies and all its dependencies. immediately after i started a new research. ill check in in 2 hours when it should be done

Could you try updating minecolonies? 1.1.897 is not the latest minecolonies version for 1.21.1, and a bug that could cause this has been fixed some time ago
