Game crashes when talking to a citizen in Spectator Mode

Is there an existing issue for this?

Are you using the latest MineColonies Version?

  • I am running the latest beta/release version of MineColonies for my Minecraft version.
    I am also running the latest versions of other mods that are part of my problem.

Did you check on the Wiki? or ask on Discord?

  • I checked the MineColonies Wiki and made sure my issue is not covered there. Or I was sent from discord to open an issue here.

What were you playing at the time? Were you able to reproduce it in both settings?

Current Behavior

This happens when I try to talk to a citizen in Spectator Mode. It goes to this screen and when I exit, it goes to the server list. I was playing Singleplayer.

Expected Behavior

Either not being able to talk to the citizen, or being able to. Not crashing the game.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Have a colony
  2. Swap to Spectator Mode
  3. Talk to a citizen

I discovered this first in the "ATM10 - To The Sky" modpack, where I added the Minecolonies mod. I reproduced it in a clean install, with only Minecraft, Minecolonies and its dependencies. It still happened, so it is something with Minecolonies.
I suspect it might be the interaction with Spectator Mode and talking with a citizen. A Spectator is not supposed to be able to interact with the world, but Minecolonies does not have something to hinder it when talking to a citizen. My hypothesis is that Minecraft and Minecolonies then "conflicts", and what I sent a picture of happens
