Chef and Sawmill NOT finishing tasks - inventory fully supplied

Is there an existing issue for this?

  • I have searched the existing issues.

Are you using the latest MineColonies Version?

  • I am running the latest beta/release version of MineColonies for my Minecraft version.
    I am also running the latest versions of other mods that are part of my problem.

Did you check on the Wiki? or ask on Discord?

  • I checked the MineColonies Wiki and made sure my issue is not covered there. Or I was sent from discord to open an issue here.

What were you playing at the time? Were you able to reproduce it in both settings?

Current Behavior

Hello, as you can see they are getting their taskers, but not completing them. I do not know what is causing it. I tried firing and rehiring, restarting the citizen, etc. This has been aan issue since 1.1.154 of minecolonies. Please help or fix it! Latest version of neoforge 21.1.213.

*UPDATE: it seems they get overwhelmed and just freeze up. The sawmill is leaving all stuff in her inventory. Same with the Chef.

Expected Behavior

Citizens to receive work orders and finish them in its entirety.

Reproduction Steps

  1. Get chef or sawmill
  2. Order new conduction or have waiter order food
  3. Wait and see if they do it

I don't know what to do, this is being run on my private MULTIPLAYER server that I play with my friends.

Seeing similar, also with Stonemason. Dumping their inventory and moving it to the building inventory seems to unstick them for a bit, but eventually they get stuck again.
Suspect it might be related to changes attempting to fix #11290 ?

seems likely, issue started happening to me after updating as well.

Reverting back to 1.1.155 seems to fix it for me. Staying on this version until it is fixed.

I have an addition to this: My stone mason does not seem to stop crafting, with little requests it managed to craft over 1100 cobble stone slabs before I intervened.

Have seen this occasionally w/ the SM and Carp as well... hit/miss if I'm gonna get ton of something or none of something :D
