Current Behavior
The brick maker is currently not doing tasks, or requesting fuel properly.
Expected Behavior
I expect the brick maker to start her tasks and have fuel delivered. She also should load furnaces to do tasks, and she does neither.
Reproduction Steps
- Make brick maker building.
- Set fuel and await tasks given by other crafters.
- Wait and watch.
Logs
Anything else?
I noticed if you manually put fuel in, and her items, she will cook them then, and even request fuel when she runs out. The bug is getting her to start it seems.
This is a bug I noticed while playing. Present since 1.1.168.

Kill your brickmaker, hire a new one, then switch all possible fuels to "off." Wait until they remove the fuel from the furnace, take the previous fuel from their inventory, switch the fuels back to "on," and add them to their inventory again. This worked for me with two brickmakers and a glassblower. I haven’t had this problem since.

Yes this works, thanks. But the issue as a whole needed a post, as this is obviously unintentional behavior. :)
