when the cook has a request for fuel
and u only have a single fuel item in your hot bar but have a random amount of other fuel items in your inventory the cook will take the single item form your hotbar and turn it in to a full stack with out touching anything form the inventory

Tried it, I wasn't able to reproduce it.
