Pasting (the copy icon) replaces sand and gravel to sandstone, except top layer

Expected behavior

When I paste a schematic/scan using the copy icon, it should paste exactly as saved.

Actual behaviour

When I use the build tool, to paste a new schematic, it replaces any sand or gravel that is deeper than 1 layer with sandstone. The top layer stays what it was. This is even happening to the structurize, light colored placeholder blocks, they are being turned to sandstone.

Steps to reproduce the problem

Click the build tool, select something that has sand (including red sand) or gravel that is more than 1 layer deep, Press the paste (copy) icon and anything below top layer will change to sandstone.
