Expected behavior

i was update my server 1.14.4 to 1.15.2

I thought of better colonies.

Actual behaviour

All colony data was lost. All residents were also gone.

1. mod version update 1.14.4 to 1.15.2
2. and 1.15.2 server open
3. All gone

Should I reset the world?

yeah, you can't update from 1.14 to 1.15 without losing stuff. Forge doesn't support this either.

Yes, you have to start new.
