Lumberjack gets stuck attempting to cut down certain trees

Expected behavior
That the Lumberjack can actually get close enough to the trunk of the tree to chop the tree down
Actual behaviour
The lumberjack just bounces off the leaves of the tree repeatedly and gets stuck. Will not give up on tree. After an evening of returning to sleep lumberjack goes back to the same tree and is stuck. This loop continues until the tree is manually chopped down.
If you look in Tiaga biomes there are occasionally these 4 block trunk spruce trees that instead of doing the normal tall trunk w/leaves at top appear to more resemble christmas trees in shape. They have a very wide base of foliage. When the lumberjack encounters one of these trees they get stuck until you intervene.
See attached screenshot for tree type. They're not hard to find you just have to be in the right biome.
Steps to reproduce the problem
- Find Tiaga Biome
- Find Christmas tree style 4 block trunk spruce tree
- Create colony, set lumberjack nearby
- Use tool to limit lumberjack to area around christmas tree style tree
- don't profit, since he/she won't chop that sucker down! :P

Note tree in dead center of screenshot. Those are the offending tree types. Vanilla biome, vanilla tree generation.
it just happened again, was able to capture a quick vid of the behavior.
