Current Behavior

Back on the Raid Server our Level 5 Enchanter produced a number of overlevelled spell books. I did not know they could do this at the time, so when I used them on weapons/tools and they didn't work as intended I assumed they were just named incorrectly. TIL that it is a feature so I offered to Ray to report as a bug.

I can't remember which spells exactly, but I think I tried Fire Aspect III, Looting V and Fortune IV. The book disappeared along with my xp, but the enchants remained as Fire Aspect II, Looting III and Fortune III. I can't be sure it wasn't just a name glitch though. The stats may have still been increased. I was getting a lot of extras from my Fortune.

Expected Behavior

I expected the spell books to apply the enchants to my weapons/tools as named.

Reproduction Steps

Have a Level 5 Enchanter. Give them Tomes. Wait for RNGeesus to smile upon you and give you an over-levelled spell. Apply to item. ... Profit.
