Occasionally I have very severe lag, which quickly accumulates into 0.3 fps. This happens when talking to villagers a lot, and can sometimes be fixed by rejoining or restarting Minecraft.
The villager editor modifications do not stay, but reset at some point after being set.

Tested on smp server.
