Bug report: It says that there is a newer version even though I have the latest

Describe the bug
I have downloaded version 6.1.0 of the mod for MC 1.12.2
It works fine and all of the features are intact but when I start up the world it says that a later version "6.0.1" is available which is obviously the previous version.
Steps to Reproduce
Please include steps we can take to reproduce the bug:
- Launch Minecraft
- Create a World
- Log in
- Observe the message
Minecraft Information:
