I've ran into an issue where if a villager gets to far away from the village, they just start running away from it. They will go and run for miles in a relatively strait line. This has happen on multiply saves for me. Any one having the same problem?

I had this problem with my child, when they grew up they just started walking away from the task they were doing. I stopped them the first time but when they became an adult I assume they did the same thing and I havent found him since

I have this problem with Warrior, Hero and Archer villagers. They spawn outside of the village and just run in all directions.

I have the problem with all villagers and they only seem to run in one direction. this has happened on multiple worlds.
