Villagers spawning masivelly on my server. There are some towns on my server, which started with 10 villagers, and after a day of server life the town have over 100 villagers, you cannot get close to the village without lagging. Hope you can help. Thanks. If you need any more information ill provide it.

Same problem here but I also added more doors to my village.

I think I may have found a possible fix for this which works on my single player survival world. I went into the configuration settings and turned the villager spawn cap down and also turned up the villager spawn rate which spawns a villager per whatever minutes you set it at. Hope this helps!

Removing OptiFine fixed this issue for me.
