Respawning as a child doesn't work in 1.6.4.

When I die in hardcore it says "No children!" even if I have more than one and both genders.

Are the children adults? Unable to reproduce in 1.7.2. Unable to test 1.6.4 at this time.

I tried with a child and with a baby but not an adult.

It worked with an adult. I didn't know I need an adult to respawn.

No worries, a common mistake. They must be unmarried adult children.
