Whenever I open the inventory of my spouse while another villager is nearby, it seems to open the other villager's inventory instead. When I put the baby in my spouse's inventory (or what I think is their inventory), I see the baby in the random villager's hand instead of my spouse's. I've already had multiple babies kidnapped this way, but I can never recreate it. It never happens when I want it to, but it always happens when I DON'T want it to. It has happened multiple times though.

• I am running Forge 14.23.0.2491
• I can't recreate the glitch, but it seems to happen when the random NPC is near your spouse when you open their inventory
• This isn't causing any crashes, but it is very annoying.

I can just reset my baby now, but if I give a random villager a block of diamond or something I'm not getting that back. Sorry I couldn't figure out how to recreate it, hopefully it's still enough info.

So this glitch happened again, so I did some research on it while it happened. It seems to link the two inventories: it happened with my child this time so I could access both inventories. When I click my wife, it has the spouse options, but clicking inventory opens my child's inventory. The only way to fix this is to separate the two before opening the inventory. So it seems they need to stand next to each other in just the right way to mix up the inventories. This right way, however, I don't know how to do.
