it's kinda weird how there's a rank system for the player but not the villagers. it'd be pretty cool if villages had pre-existing leaders that you could run against in an election, or do a violent take over if you're the colonizing type. maybe you could also work on a proper reputation system? or maybe add dialog, that actually relates to people in the village? right now, villagers are pretty disconnected from one another. sure, they have family and what-not, but they barely talk about them. and they don't acknowledge anything you do with other villagers.

anyway, those were my ideas.
