[Suggestions] EFM Model Support

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Not a really a problem, as much as request for potential support. Epic Fight Mod (EFM) has the option of animating player models from others mods using datapacks, allowing them to work with the EFM mod itself. MCA models CAN be made to be animated - but it breaks the skins, I was curious if it would be possible to fix this.
Describe the solution you'd like
As the MCA models are crucial to the design, I don't expect the solution to be building support for EFM unless it was easy. However, if there could be an option added to MCA 1.18.2 that allows us to turn off the MCA models, but instead of using Vanilla model - giving us the ability to use player models and maybe even create out own skin library for them?
Describe alternatives you've considered
Ultimately, MCA models WILL animate properly with datapacks. Using the mca:female_npc and mca:male_npc calls in the datapack will work, and they function fine. The problem is the skins simply break.
Additional context
It's totally ok if this isn't possible, just a feature I'd like to see. I have a modpack I use with EFM and MCA and I currently am able to work it fine - but it would feel nice to see the models animated like players and the guards to do the cool animations when they fight monsters.
