Buggy Vehicle Sounds

Expected Behaviour
If you use a train with BVE sounds with MotorNoiseDataType = 4 format, then motor sounds should be getting quieter as you move farther away from the train.

Actual Behaviour
Sounds are not getting quieter. If the train is still loaded, then you will hear motor noises no matter how far you are.

Reproduction Steps
Steps to reproduce the behaviour:

  1. Use a train with MotorNoiseDataType = 4 in train's sound.cfg. For example, A-train and LU D78, 1995, 1996.
  2. Get as far as possible from the train while still keeping it visible.
  3. You still can hear motor sounds,
  4. It may work as expected, but the problem may appear after rejoining the world.

Crash Report
Not applicable.

Screenshots
Would be a better idea to attach a video. I'm too lazy to record a separate video so I'll just use existing video with timecode:
https://youtu.be/IEratSrD2XM?t=39

Environment

  • Minecraft Version: 1.18.2 and 1.19.2
  • Installed Mods: For 1.19.2 (not the modpack from video, but the problem is also reproducible here):

All BVE is Not working the Motor, Try to Fix it the BVE Mods in Minecraft

Are your sounds in mono or stereo format?

Thanks, I was wondering because Minecraft doesn't change the volume of sounds if they are in stereo.

Some of them were in stereo but the problem stays even after converting to mono.

Try to Reinstall the Modpack okay?

Stereo is not working so how do you fix it?
