A single rail section splitting and misaligning
Colemanmade opened this issue ยท 0 comments
Expected Behaviour
The rail should connect seamlessly
Actual Behaviour
A single section of rail splits or misaligns, usually happens at the the middle of the rail section. Can also happen at rail nodes, where the rail is misaligned with the node.
Reproduction Steps
Exact conditions to reproduce behavior is not clear.
Usually happens when a straight section of rail is angled relative to the world.
Seems to be occur regardless of rail length.
The longer the section of rail, the larger the offset tends to be.
By trial and error, the rail can be fixed by moving the rail nodes around.
Moving nodes by even a block seems to fix the issue sometimes.
Due to the seemingly arbitrary behavior, the exact method to replicate is unknown.
When a train passes over the split, the cars jump from one section to the other, causing unsmooth motion.
