so this happens when i shoot a gun flare

yeah that happens, and with strobe lights happen the same, but when i try screenshotting the strobe lights bug, it just doest show up
so im wondering if it is a setting that i have touched and that i should have not touched, or it is optifine, if its just me or idk

Hey there, wanted to go into detail for what moderation rights id require:

For the MTS Discord server:
The easiest and best method would be to grant me all rights to the server, that way I can manage it much much easier.
That doesn't mean you need to transfer ownership or anything, just make a role called "Head Moderator" / "MTS Pope" or anything that comes to mind really. Then enable all the rights and assign the role to me. Drag it to the top of the role list so I can manage all roles below me. (giving people PA, giving people retired PA roles, managing moderation members etc)

Also id like to request editing rights to the main project on curse so I can do immediate edits of its description, screenshots and by extension, files, should you really indefinitely retreat from modding so updates can be continued, even if smaller and less complex.

I also want to clarify that any gained rights on curse/discord/permits to edit IV main aren't meant to replace you but to rather do some progress and help you out along. Basically maintaining.

Hello again.
Another month has passed by now. I understand that your life has gotten a whole lot more interesting this year and that you are naturally busy around the changing conditions.
But I do want to remind you that I too work full time and have my personal relationships to tend to, and yet, there is time for me to work on MTS occasionally. What id appreciate a lot is if you took just five minutes of your time to open discord in your browser and give me head moderator rights so I can properly manage the IV server in your abstinence. I have limboed around my moderation limits for so long, and the flood of people not understanding where to go and how stuff works due to the server being structured the way it is and asking the same questions again and again and again is costing not just me but also our pack authors so much time and energy.
I don't want to sound negative, but you delay your reappearance again and again and its frustrating to tell all the users that some critical bugs are still not fixed.
I am no one to dictate your life, but please listen to me as a friend. Clear out a week in your schedule or a period of weekdays or weekends where you can dedicate your time to your mod one last time. To finish what has been started. Please don't leave Immersive vehicles in the state it is. If you want to retire, that is fine, it really is and I understand that fully. You have done so much over the years for us. But please do not turn your back on us and abandon us like this.
Let's get to testing one last time. A bug fixing marathon, one to finish them all.

Addressed in 22.18.0.

Join the IV/MTS discord server and install a newer beta of 22.18.
If that doesn't fix it, optifine might be the cause, although it works on my end...

Hey, another month has passed...
How are you? Any updates on your situation?

@SnailPerson Finished up my move just last month. This month has seen us cleaning up the house from the catastrophe of it, and trying to sell stuff to make things livable. Also, saw me in New York and Canada for a spell. Next month perhaps I'll have a little time to do coding. Really though I'll be doing my best to patch up the stuff for a release, pop that to Curse, and hit the bugs. But I'm not sure if I'll have the bandwidth to do a full-on update since I'm spending more time with life and stuff than on the PC.

But I would at least like to leave this mod in a good state before I go. It's funny, I always thought I'd retire cause MC modding got blocked, or because I got tired of it, not because life was more interesting!

If you do leave.. whats going to happen? Will you pass the torch to another user, or will your leave cause us all to require seeking out another mod? Id hope youd take to the former, rather than the latter..

@SnailPerson Honetly, I need to give you mod perms for thread modification and message stuff. You're eseentially my right-hand now, and what with all that you need perms. I just haven't gotten yet back to Discord to handle that. A good chunk of my free time now is at work and that means I can't access Discord or coding, though I can do GitHub replies like this right here. Especially yesterday when I was stuck in a nasty training.

Also, I'll probably get married around state-side. Probably somewhere in Colorado. But maybe one day I'll be over in Europe some day. I know I've got a few trips to Spain in my future... Which isn't super close to Snailandia, but it's on the way. Plus, work might take me to Germany one day, so that'd be closer. We shall see!

@DonBruce64 yeah, being promoted to head moderator would let me manage better in the times you aren't there.
I wrote a FAQ section that would be perfect for its own channel so people stop asking the same questions all the time but well... best I can do is pins in open road. Same with the faulty 1.20 version in PA that crashes the game, but the functioning 1.20 beta pinned in the 1.20 general chat so on and so forth... So yeah, more perms would def be helpful xD

When you're back eventually, we gotta exchange contacts so you can give me a text in case you end up in Germany lmao

There are droves of people asking for 1.20 and it's really exhausting to provide them all with answers, you know best how fun customer support is. Especially with lacking moderation rights on my side, im limited to pinned messages and links.
I really hope you'll be able to take back the helm next month. The ship needs its captain :)

Also if you ever go on to marry, consider holding the wedding in Europe so European PAs can visit you.

@SnailPerson RKO died due to me moving in with GF and her having the WIFI, and so I can't port forward anything or access my PI server since its IP keeps changing. I'll get to that sometime if possible.

As to life, going well, though mostly been move-in struggles. Plus taking a ton of trips and trying to get settled with stuff. I think give me another month and I'll have a green/red for doing some coding, as there's a few life things that are going to hit soon that will hopefully clear stuff out. But again, we shall see...
