Ive been using mts v22.17 off of curseforge for the longest time, so when mts just got updated to 22.18 some of my VMs started weird

They seem to run at the same tick speed as any other regular VM, but all the motion is slowed down for some reason.

The examples below show the difference in VM behavior in 22.17 and 22.18, the motion of the door being a reference
